    It's been a little quiet on the Xerxes front lately. If you've been keeping an eye on his website recently, you will have found a huge amount of works available including an entirely unreleased selection.

    The Xerxes Christmas box draws on three of the most recent releases - Selected Works volume 1 and 2 and Unreleased 2009. And being one of the most productive musicians on the scene, theres also a Selected works volume 3, having just appeared from the wings.

    Xerxes hosts his music at Bandcamp, which encourages you to donate any amount to enable the downloading facility - if you enjoy this (relatively small) selection, why not visit xerxes-music.com and donate some cash to a worthwhile artist to get the rest of the tracks from these albums?

    Anyway, as for this 'Christmas selection box', there are 16 tracks in total, which makes for 77 minutes of continuous music. And the tracks are fabulous, festive and highly enjoyable.
